Mukiwa Financial Services is owned and run by Steve Betts, a qualified Chartered Accountant and Xero certified adviser with over 24 years’ experience in audit and accountancy.

Originally from Zimbabwe, Steve qualified with Ernst & Young in 1998. After relocating to the UK he spent the next 8 years in various financial management roles, on the Isle of Man and then in London.

After arriving in Australia in 2006, Steve contracted with St George bank before joining Gresham Partners as Group Finance Manager, a role he held for 3 years before founding Mukiwa Financial Services in 2010.

With extensive experience in accounting, management and board reporting, tax and company secretary responsibilities, as well as systems implementation, Steve is well-positioned to act as your de-facto CFO and provide strategic business advice.

Steve is known for his ‘can-do’ attitude and proactive approach, and likes nothing better than to see his clients benefit from Mukiwa Financial Services. He is also a Xero, Xero Payroll and Workflow Max Certified Adviser.
